About Us

Here at Carmel Automotive, we are a full service automobile care provider owned by Bruce Trushinsky. We are locally owned and operated in Phoenix, AZ. We have been providing our automobile care to the Phoenix, AZ community for over 40 years! We have ASE certified mechanics qualified to work on any make and model of vehicle.

Sergio Romero has been a technician at Carmel Automotive since 2013 and is also an ASE certified technician. He is a very dedicated and hardworking professional and even though he is the youngest member of our team you would be hard pressed to find someone with such a big smile and an eye for the details. In his spare time Sergio enjoys his custom built Nissan Pathfinder. He loves to take it off road and push it to the limits. 

Tyler Martin is the newest member of our team and has been with us since Sep. 2016. He is also an ASE certified technician. He definitely has the biggest personality in the shop but don't let this joker fool you he is very detailed oriented and keeps probably the cleanest work area in the shop second maybe only to Bruce. Tyler enjoys his time outside of the shop at the gun range. His is an avid target shooter and gun enthusiast.

Meet Our Team

Bruce Trushinsky is the owner/operator here at Carmel Automotive and has been with us, well since black and white. He is MACS certified in A/C and boasts almost 41 years of experience in the automotive industry. He is a member of the dealers association and very active in the local community. Most of his advertising dollars are spent at the local high school and elementary school band and sporting programs. He is also especially proud of the work he does with the Washington Street Foundation as a volunteer mentor. Check out the Washington Street Foundation at www.wsfkids.org. When Bruce is not at the shop there is a good chance you could find him with his head in the clouds. He is an accomplished pilot and looks for any chance he can to get airborne.
